Business Development Executive – Logistics & Freight

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for Cargo Solution Services by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts within the air and sea freight sectors. This fast‑paced position requires a customer‑centric mindset, strong leadership at the operational level, and the ability to leverage technology tools to streamline sales processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies based on market analysis and customer insights.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, meeting individual and team targets.
• Use CRM software to track activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through effective communication.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing and other departments to improve the customer experience.
• Negotiate profitable deals while safeguarding company interests.
• Identify new business opportunities by monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
• Support training of junior sales staff and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1‑2 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Age between 22 and 35 years.
• Dynamic, able to multitask and adapt to a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership qualities at an operational level.

What we offer

• Salary range PKR 40,000 – PKR 65,000 per month.
• Conveyance and petrol allowances included in the package.
• Commission of 30% above target.
• Potential future car or bike policy based on sales performance.
• Clear sales target of 2.5 times the monthly salary.
