Business Development Manager – Government Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong experience in Government/Public Sector projects to develop business opportunities across Smart City, Smart Policing, Transportation, Justice and related technology solutions. The role works closely with pre‑sales, product, delivery and senior management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with government customers, key end users and system integrators.
• Identify, develop and convert large‑scale project opportunities.
• Manage project opportunities from initial engagement through contract signing and delivery.
• Drive customer engagements, market intelligence and Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
• Maintain project pipeline, opportunity progress, risks and action plans.
• Coordinate with Pre‑Sales, Product, Delivery, HQ and management teams.
• Achieve business development and sales targets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Government/Public Sector business development or project sales.
• Experience handling mega projects and government stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Target‑oriented with strong business development capabilities.
• Good MS Excel and reporting skills.
