Business Development Manager – Hybrid Rice Seed

About the role

Jaffer Agro Services Private Limited seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the sales development and promotion of its hybrid rice seed business in Sindh, Pakistan. The role focuses on market expansion, farmer engagement, and building strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and commission agents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans for hybrid rice seeds, including market segmentation, profiling, and potential analysis.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and farmer feedback to produce regular forecasts.
• Leverage strong connections with rice hybrid seed dealers, distributors, and commission agents to drive retail and bulk sales.
• Maintain and expand relationships with progressive rice farmers through visits, field days, demonstration plots, and high‑profile farmer meetings.
• Identify and manage development activities in unexplored high‑potential areas.
• Lead, develop, and expand the sales team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in agriculture.
• 8–10 years of proven business development experience in rice hybrid seed.
• Age between 35 and 45 years.
• Strong network with dealers, distributors, millers, and commission agents.

Required skills

• Knowledge of rice cultivation.
• Understanding of seed technologies.
• Familiarity with fertilizers.
• Experience with agrochemicals.
