Business Development Manager

About the role

Haumaru Whānau is seeking a full‑time remote Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand its presence across the GCC region. You will focus on financial services, government, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure clients, helping them meet cyber‑assurance and digital‑trust requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for target markets in the GCC.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline across the specified sectors.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities in cybersecurity, compliance, and digital trust.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client objectives, risks, and regulatory obligations.
• Engage senior stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, risk and compliance leaders, and procurement teams.
• Translate complex cyber‑assurance requirements into clear, value‑based proposals.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and respond to RFPs.
• Negotiate commercial terms in collaboration with internal teams.
• Coordinate with delivery and technical teams to shape solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide regular performance reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within cybersecurity, digital trust, or related technology services.
• Strong consultative selling approach with a focus on long‑term partnerships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior executives.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a sales pipeline effectively.

Required skills

• Understanding of cybersecurity, cyber‑assurance, compliance, and digital‑trust concepts.
• Experience engaging with C‑level stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO, etc.).
