Business Development Manager – Optical Industry

About the role

Our client, a leading player in the optical retail sector, is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand institutional and corporate sales across Pakistan. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships with schools, universities, hospitals, banks, factories and other organisations while promoting vision‑screening programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B opportunities with corporate and institutional clients.
• Establish relationships with HR managers, procurement teams and decision‑makers in educational and healthcare institutions.
• Design and launch eye‑screening camps and vision‑awareness events.
• Collaborate with optometrists and store teams to deliver on‑site screening services.
• Create corporate and educational packages, partnership agreements and discount programmes.
• Convert screening participants into eyewear customers and drive additional sales.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and service agreements.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track leads and monitor market trends.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in business development, B2B or institutional sales.
• Background in optical retail, healthcare, FMCG, pharmaceuticals or medical devices is preferred.
• Existing network with schools, universities, hospitals or corporate HR departments is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Target‑oriented with proven networking and relationship‑building skills.
• Valid driving licence is a plus.
