Business Development Officer – Battery Market

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Officer to drive growth in the battery market for Enerbyte, a lithium and sodium‑ion battery brand operating in Pakistan. Based in Rawalpindi, you will work on‑site to identify new opportunities for lithium battery packs and energy‑storage solutions, build relationships with dealers and support the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities for lithium and sodium‑ion battery products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with battery dealers across KPK and northern Punjab.
• Conduct market research to monitor trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and financial projections in collaboration with technical and operations teams.
• Support contract negotiations and ensure post‑sale follow‑up for customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve defined sales and growth targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in the lead‑acid battery market.
• Proven new‑business development abilities, including lead generation and opportunity assessment.
• Strong communication skills for client presentations, negotiations and internal coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field (preferred).
• Willingness to travel locally and to dealer sites in KPK and northern Punjab.
