Business Development Officer – Financial Consultancy

About the role

People Perfect is looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to support a consulting firm that offers financial planning, accounting, fractional CFO, and strategic consulting services. The role will focus on generating and qualifying international B2B prospects, conducting market research, and engaging potential clients through LinkedIn, email, AI‑powered tools, and structured follow‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and identify potential B2B prospects worldwide.
• Verify and qualify leads against defined business criteria.
• Manage professional email outreach and follow‑up campaigns.
• Use LinkedIn for prospecting, executive research, and relationship building.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT for prospect research and outreach support.
• Maintain accurate prospect and pipeline data in CRM systems.
• Coordinate meetings, proposals, and sales activities with senior management.
• Track outreach performance and continuously improve prospecting strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in B2B business development, international lead generation, sales development or outbound prospecting.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience targeting international, especially US‑based, businesses is preferred.
• Basic understanding of finance, accounting, FP&A, cash flow and business reporting.
