Business Development Officer Intern

About the role

Join Z Media Technologies as a Business Development Officer Intern and support the growth of a software and technology services firm. You will work closely with sales and delivery teams to learn client research, lead generation, proposal preparation, and coordination of technical demos.

Key responsibilities

• Research target companies, qualify prospects, and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Assist in drafting tailored proposals, presentations, and follow‑up communications for potential clients.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, partnership opportunities, and service expansion ideas.
• Coordinate meetings and technical demos, preparing briefs and agendas for both internal and client teams.
• Track outreach performance metrics, generate regular reports, and help refine outreach strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns and content with business development priorities.

Required profile

• Strong research and prospecting abilities with a focus on identifying decision‑makers and relevant projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting concise emails, proposals, and presentation materials.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) or a quick learning aptitude.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle, cloud services, and AI concepts to convey value propositions.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple outreach activities simultaneously.
• Comfortable using MS Office or Google Workspace for document and presentation creation.
• Analytical mindset for tracking metrics and producing simple performance reports.
