Business Development Officer – International Client Acquisition

About the role

Backersoft Marketing Agency is seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to drive international client acquisition for its digital marketing services. The role involves identifying prospects worldwide, pitching proposals on freelancing platforms, and converting leads into long‑term customers.

Key responsibilities

• Research and acquire international clients across markets such as UAE, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
• Generate high‑quality leads and manage outreach on Upwork, Fiverr, and similar marketplaces.
• Prepare customized, high‑converting proposals and bids for digital marketing projects.
• Communicate professionally with prospects via messages, calls, and meetings, guiding them through the sales funnel.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are delivered.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, identify new industry niches, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Lead, train, and motivate the Business Development/Sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Create SOPs for lead generation, bidding, follow‑ups, and client conversion, and report on key metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or international sales.
• Proven track record of acquiring clients on Upwork, Fiverr, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing services and ability to discuss SEO, social media, paid ads, and web development with clients.
• Excellent English communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills.
• Target‑oriented mindset with leadership and team‑management capabilities.
