Business Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Officer to drive personal loan sales and manage a portfolio of customers through outbound channels. The role focuses on achieving monthly KPIs, delivering high‑quality customer service, and contributing to revenue growth in the personal banking segment. The successful candidate will collaborate with the sales team, use data‑driven insights to refine outreach strategies, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Conduct telesales activities to generate personal loan leads and close sales.
• Maintain service standards and monitor performance metrics to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Manage relationships with assigned portfolio customers via outbound channels.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end loan fulfillment process, from application to disbursement.
• Identify target segments and propose risk‑adjusted loan propositions.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status.
• Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to improve loan offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate performance data.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs and propose suitable financial solutions.
• Familiarity with outbound sales channels and loan processing procedures.
