Business Development Officer

About the role

Wired Mech is looking for a target‑oriented Business Development Officer to expand B2B sales of industrial process control instruments and related calibration, testing, and commissioning services. You will generate leads, prepare technical‑commercial proposals, manage tenders, and build strong client relationships while coordinating field activities with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads; convert prospects into customers.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, RFQs, and BOQs.
• Manage tendering processes and respond to client inquiries professionally.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Maintain relationships with engineers, procurement teams, and plant managers.
• Visit industrial sites for meetings, surveys, and coordination.
• Coordinate with engineering and technical teams for installation and commissioning support.
• Prepare calibration and testing service reports and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of industrial process control instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature, analytical).
• Knowledge of calibration, testing, and commissioning services.
• Familiarity with brands such as Siemens, Endress+Hauser, WIKA, Yokogawa.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Experience in B2B industrial sales, lead generation, and tender management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑handling skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to industrial sites as required.
