Business Development Representative – Lead Generation

About the role

Echo9 is an AI-powered subbing and dubbing platform serving studios worldwide. We are seeking a research‑driven Business Development Representative who excels at precise targeting, deep account research, and outreach that generates genuine replies.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) account lists across OTTs, TV and news broadcasters, localization service providers, and EdTech platforms.
• Monitor buying signals such as new launches, market expansions, dubbing job posts, and content‑library growth.
• Craft highly personalised LinkedIn and email outreach that references specific account details.
• Maintain clean, contextual data in the Bigin CRM for every prospect handed to the Account Executive.
• Collaborate directly with the Sales AE and the founding team.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in B2B outbound, business development, or a research‑heavy commercial role.
• Proven track record of writing outreach that generates replies, not just opens.
• Comfortable using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforge.
• Strong research instinct, disciplined CRM usage, and self‑directed account identification.
• Excellent written English; exposure to media, OTT, localisation, or SaaS is a plus.
