Business Development Specialist – Call Center B2B

About the role

This position focuses on outbound calling to independent self‑storage facility owners to convert mailed catalog leads into sales. You will use consultative selling and price/quality comparisons against the market leader to win new accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to self‑storage facilities within 3‑5 business days of a mailed catalog/insert.
• Qualify facilities by unit count, current lock supplier, and pricing.
• Educate prospects on the client’s disc lock and cylinder lock product line and pricing advantage versus competitors.
• Close sales over the phone or schedule follow‑up appointments with warm prospects.
• Log call outcomes, facility details, and objections accurately in the CRM.
• Send follow‑up emails, catalogs, and quotes promptly after each call.
• Meet daily/weekly call volume, conversation, and conversion targets.
• Participate in ongoing product, objection‑handling training and role‑play sessions.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1) – all communication conducted in English.
• At least 1 year of outbound sales, telesales, or cold‑calling experience.
• Demonstrated ability to close sales over the phone, not just schedule appointments.
• Comfort handling objections and price‑based negotiations.
• Basic competence with CRM and data‑entry tools.
