Business Development Specialist

About the role

AI Storm Labs is an AI‑first software studio looking for a Business Development Specialist to own the top of its sales pipeline. You will identify high‑value opportunities, decide the best outreach approach, and open conversations that the senior founder will turn into closed deals.

Key responsibilities

• Research and qualify prospects on platforms such as Upwork and LinkedIn, focusing on web, mobile, AI and automation projects.
• Determine for each opportunity whether to submit a proposal or to contact the decision‑maker directly.
• Craft personalized, warm outreach messages that generate responses.
• Schedule qualified discovery calls and hand them over to the founder for closing.
• Maintain an organized pipeline and analyse outreach performance to improve tactics.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Upwork bidding, LinkedIn outreach, or B2B sales and measurable results.
• Resourceful and able to find alternative entry points when initial contacts fail.
• Excellent written communication – clear, human and persuasive.
• Analytical mindset; can explain the reasoning behind each outreach decision.
• Honest and realistic, never over‑promising to win a deal.
