Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will drive growth for Technostad Engineering Services by identifying and securing new opportunities in the petrochemical, oil & gas, refinery and energy sectors. Based in Sargodha, the role involves market research, lead generation, proposal development and supporting negotiations with both local and international partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery & Energy sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with plant management, procurement, supply chain and engineering teams.
• Identify and pursue RFQs, tenders, projects, shutdowns and procurement opportunities.
• Manage vendor registration and pre‑qualification with major industrial organisations.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to prepare quotations and proposals.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve assigned business targets.
• Provide regular market intelligence, customer feedback and business development reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 8–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Fertilizer, Power or Industrial Supplies.
• Proven track record with major Pakistani Oil & Gas / Energy organisations (highly preferred).
• Strong existing industry relationships and knowledge of vendor registration and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and business development abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Pakistan.
