Business Development Specialist - Liquid Handling

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive sales of our liquid‑handling portfolio in the Bay area while being based in our Lahore office. The role combines lead generation, technical demonstrations and relationship management with top‑tier pharmaceutical and biotech customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new leads and customers in the Bay area.
• Conduct cold calls, emails and online meetings to qualify prospects.
• Prepare proposals and quotes using CRM systems.
• Deliver effective online product demonstrations and presentations.
• Coordinate with sales team members and other departments to achieve territory targets.
• Maintain and manage the sales pipeline, tracking market trends and customer requirements.
• Develop short‑, medium‑ and long‑term sales strategies and quarterly lead‑generation plans.
• Create email campaigns to raise product awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to work 45 hours per week.
• Experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical or biotech sales is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for managing leads and proposals.
