Business Support Assistant – Budget & Programming (SC5)

About the role

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, delivering food assistance to save lives and build peace. The Business Support Assistant will support the Budget, Programming and Finance functions at the Peshawar office, working on a 12‑month service contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, monitoring and reporting of budgets and financial plans.
• Support programming and finance teams with data collection, analysis and documentation.
• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with WFP policies.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and reports for senior staff and donors.

Required profile

• Pakistan national.
• Relevant academic qualification verified by the Higher Education Commission.
• Ability to work in an office environment in Peshawar.
• Commitment to WFP values of integrity, collaboration, commitment, humanity and inclusion.
