C Engineer – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced C Engineer to work remotely on an hourly‑paid contractor basis. You will review AI‑generated C code, low‑level system designs, and technical explanations, while producing high‑quality reference implementations and step‑by‑step reasoning for complex engineering problems.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Review C code for logic errors, memory handling, concurrency issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Fact‑check technical information and write clear, detailed explanations and model solutions.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases and ensure reliability across use cases.
• Collaborate with version control, CI/CD, and automated testing workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing production C software for systems, embedded, or performance‑critical applications.
• Expert‑level proficiency in C, including deep knowledge of pointers, memory management, and undefined behavior.
• Strong background in concurrency, operating systems, hardware interaction, and performance optimization.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken) with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
