Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Fulcrum Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer / Executive Vice President to lead the finance function of its banking client in Karachi. The role reports to the CEO and Board, providing strategic financial direction and oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall finance activities including planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee profitability, liquidity, capital management and asset‑liability management.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, accounting standards, tax requirements and other regulatory frameworks.
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership and drive cost optimisation.
• Manage relationships with auditors, regulators and tax authorities.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Mandatory experience in digital banking with strong understanding of digital operations, products and platforms.
• Proven track record in senior finance roles such as CFO, Group CFO, Head of Finance or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of banking finance, SBP regulations, capital adequacy, liquidity, ALM, taxation and financial reporting.
• Strategic, analytical and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
