Chief Technology Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Chief Technology Officer to build and lead our technology function from the ground up. Based in Karachi, the CTO will work night‑shift US hours and will be accountable for software development, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity across corporate offices, back‑offices and US retail stores.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the architecture for proprietary business applications using the Microsoft/.NET ecosystem, including APIs, databases, DevOps pipelines, testing, security and deployment standards.
• Oversee the NetSuite environment – administration, integrations, optimisation and coordination with implementation partners.
• Design and standardise a scalable IT infrastructure covering networking, cloud and server platforms, endpoint management, Wi‑Fi, backup, disaster recovery and service‑management processes.
• Develop and enforce a comprehensive cybersecurity programme covering identity and access management, multi‑factor authentication, data encryption, vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response and employee awareness.
• Manage vendor and technology partner relationships and ensure consistent technology standards across all locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles with a track record of building and scaling technology functions.
• Hands‑on technical background with the ability to design architecture, set standards and lead implementation teams.
• Comfortable working night‑shift hours aligned with US business schedules.
