Civil Draftsman

About the role

The Civil Draftsman will join DAR Engineering’s drafting team to support the production of detailed drawings for transmission & distribution, water, plant and infrastructure projects. The role involves close collaboration with lead engineers and project managers to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, detail and schedule drawings according to instructions from Lead Engineer and Engineer.
• Assist the project team with deliverables, including BOQ take‑off and submittal preparation.
• Maintain quality and timeliness of allocated works, following QA/QC drawing standards.
• Organise and print submittals with required QMS documentation and record delivery.
• Support senior designers in developing drafting standards and assist with day‑to‑day department operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in civil drafting or structural design.
• Ability to follow written systems, policies and procedures.
• Strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
