Civil Engineer – Hospital Projects

About the role

Shifa International Hospitals Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead structural design and execution for new hospital construction and localized retrofits. The role supports the hospital’s mission of delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care through state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural design, analysis, and execution for both new construction and localized retrofits.
• Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycles, ensuring strict adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop, baseline, and maintain detailed project schedules and Gantt charts using tools such as Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Coordinate technical operations to minimize disruption during facility upgrades or expansions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of robust civil engineering experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital construction environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with PEC registration.
• Proven track record in hands‑on project management and schedule control.
• Preferably an active PMP® or CAPM® certification.
• Familiarity with local building codes, health‑facility standards, and relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Required skills
