Civil Engineer (Retired Army) – On-site

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a Civil Engineer with prior Army experience, based in Rahimyar Khan. The role focuses on planning, designing, and delivering civil engineering projects while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and timely execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and detailed project documentation.
• Review project plans and manage day‑to‑day site activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor stormwater and drainage systems.
• Implement quality‑control measures to maintain structural integrity.
• Apply disciplined project management, risk assessment, and resource optimization using military experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Proven on‑site experience as a Civil Engineer, including planning, supervision, and coordination.
• Knowledge of infrastructure project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and cost monitoring.
• Competence in stormwater management, drainage design, and hydraulic/hydrologic analysis.
• Previous Army service with relevant engineering or construction experience.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to Rahimyar Khan.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
