About the role
The Civil Supervisor – Rigging will lead rigging operations on a large‑scale dam construction project, ensuring safe and efficient handling of heavy materials and equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform rigging activities such as slinging, lifting, shifting, and positioning of heavy components.
- Inspect and use lifting gear (slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes) and verify safe working load limits.
- Coordinate with crane operators, signalmen and site supervisors to follow approved lifting plans.
- Monitor material consumption, report shortages or damages, and maintain daily progress records.
- Troubleshoot formwork installation issues and propose corrective actions.
Required profile
- DAE – Civil qualification.
- 10 years of experience on large‑scale construction projects.
Required skills
- Rigging and slinging techniques.
- Inspection of lifting gear and load calculations.
- Coordination with crane operations and signalmen.
- Knowledge of HSE procedures and lifting safety standards.
