Client Accountant

About the role

The Ijaz Group is seeking a full‑time Client Accountant to support nonprofit clients from our Lahore office, combining on‑site and remote work. You will own month‑end and year‑end close processes, produce financial reports, and ensure client satisfaction through clear communication.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end and year‑end close for multiple clients, including A/P, A/R, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, cash reconciliations, and journal entries; manage accruals and budgets.
• Perform bank reconciliations, track daily cash activity, and reconcile funding versus actual expenditures.
• Maintain funding/AR logs, troubleshoot invoice and payment issues, and support auditors.
• Identify process improvements and take on special projects as requested.

Required profile

• 4+ years of total accounting experience, with at least 2 years in outsourced/client accounting.
• Strong English communication skills for client meetings and documentation.
• High attention to detail, ability to work independently and within a hybrid team.
• Professional discretion handling confidential information.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (bank feeds, rules, classes, projects, advanced reporting, clean‑ups).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles across A/P, payroll, cash management, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.

What we offer

• Salary: 180,000–230,000 PKR per month.
