Cloud Engineer Intern – Paid Internship Leading to Full‑Time Role

About the role

Join the Cloud Migrations & Managed Services team as a Cloud Engineer Intern. You will receive hands‑on training on cloud platforms, virtualization, networking and enterprise infrastructure, with mentorship from experienced engineers and a clear path to a full‑time position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and management of cloud environments (Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, VMware).
• Support Windows Server and Linux administration tasks.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory and technical records.
• Help configure backup solutions such as Veeam.
• Participate in Active Directory and Domain Controller operations.
• Contribute to VPN and firewall configuration and general networking tasks.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering or related IT degree) or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong willingness to learn new cloud technologies.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and cloud platforms (Google Cloud, IBM Cloud).
• Understanding of backup concepts and tools such as Veeam.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Domain Controller.
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python.
• Fundamental networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP, VPN, routing, switching) and basic firewall configuration.
• Ability to maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.
