Communications & Outreach Officer

About the role

The Communications & Outreach Officer will manage project communications, coordination, outreach activities, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of project deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor assigned projects from planning through completion, developing activity plans, timelines, and task trackers.
• Draft professional emails, notices, letters, proposals, reports, presentations and maintain clear communication between management, project teams, campuses and external stakeholders.
• Support project meetings, briefings, events, campaigns, workshops, seminars and institutional events, handling logistics, invitations and post‑event reporting.
• Maintain an updated database of contacts, partners and outreach activities, and prepare regular progress reports and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Management, Education, Social Sciences or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, communications, outreach, administration or PR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong stakeholder management and professional appearance.
• Willingness to travel within the city for meetings, visits and events.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Experience with AI tools for documentation and communication.
• Strong documentation, reporting and presentation abilities.
