Compliance Specialist - Legal (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist – Legal to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will support the legal team by ensuring that contracts and business operations comply with applicable laws across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research to identify relevant statutes, precedents and regulatory requirements.
• Manage legal documentation, filings and submissions to regulatory bodies.
• Provide guidance on legal risks and compliance requirements for various business functions.
• Maintain accurate records of legal activities and communications for audit purposes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review, drafting and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and research abilities to interpret legal documents and precedents.
• Ability to produce clear, concise and legally sound documentation.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and databases.
