Compliance Specialist - Legal (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Compliance Specialist focused on legal matters for a global technology leader. The contractor will support the legal team by ensuring that contracts, policies, and business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and revise contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research to identify relevant statutes, case law, and regulatory precedents.
• Assist in preparing and filing documentation with regulatory bodies.
• Provide guidance on legal risks and compliance requirements for ongoing business activities.
• Maintain detailed records of legal activities, communications, and audit trails.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws relevant to technology and internet services.
• Excellent analytical abilities to interpret legal documents and precedents.
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and legally sound written work.
