Computer Aided Design Engineer

About the role

3D Tact Ltd. is seeking a full‑time Computer Aided Design Engineer to work remotely. You will create mechanical and materials‑focused components and assemblies for additive manufacturing, using industry‑standard CAD and EDA tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for additive‑manufactured parts.
• Refine designs for performance, manufacturability, sustainability and compliance with tolerance and GD&T standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers and cross‑functional teams to integrate new materials and processes.
• Validate designs through simulation and analysis, support prototype builds and participate in design reviews.
• Document design standards, best practices and maintain design files.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, industrial design or a related technical field.
• Experience designing for additive manufacturing or advanced materials.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and 3D modeling.
• Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, preferably Cadence or similar platforms.
• Application of tolerance, GD&T and design standards.
• Simulation and analysis of mechanical designs.
