About the role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an experienced consultant to lead the baseline and endline evaluation of its "Building Resilience of Afghan Refugees and Host Communities" project in Balochistan Province, Pakistan. The assignment will cover protection, health and education components delivered to Afghan refugees and host communities.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement robust baseline and endline evaluation methodologies aligned with humanitarian M&E standards.
- Develop data collection tools, supervise field teams, and coordinate with sub‑partners (MERF and Taraqee Foundation) for data gathering.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project outcomes across protection, health and education services.
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports, including findings, lessons learned and recommendations for future programming.
- Present results to IRC senior staff, donors and other stakeholders.
Required profile
- University degree in social sciences, public health, international development or a related field.
- Proven experience conducting baseline and endline evaluations in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Familiarity with protection, health and education sectors in refugee settings.
- Ability to work in Pakistan and engage with local partners and communities.
- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
