Content Development and Editorial Specialist

About the role

The Content Development and Editorial Specialist will support institutional communications by creating, editing, and proofreading a wide range of materials, from website articles to event reports. The role ensures all content meets approved language standards and aligns with the school’s tone and terminology.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and proofread institutional communications, ensuring grammar, tone, factual accuracy, and consistency.
• Maintain and regularly update web content, including news stories, announcements, programme descriptions, and event reports.
• Develop and manage content for the Parent Portal and other parent‑facing communications.
• Create engaging copy for social media, website articles, and internal communications while tailoring messages for different audiences.
• Collaborate with academic, administrative, and marketing teams to translate technical information into clear, public‑friendly language.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and standardized templates to streamline content creation.
• Conduct final editorial reviews of major publications and promotional materials before release.
• Coordinate with campus focal persons to gather and disseminate school news across all campuses.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in content development, editing, or related communications roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold institutional terminology and standards.
• Excellent written English skills with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
