Contract Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Contract Attorney to work remotely on a contractual basis, supporting a technology platform in the gig economy. The attorney will provide transactional legal services, ensuring that commercial agreements are sound, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as service agreements, terms of service, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to balance business goals with legal protections.
• Ensure all agreements comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with contract execution and performance.
• Maintain organized contract records, track renewal dates, and monitor key obligations.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney in good standing with experience in transactional law, preferably within technology or commercial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of contract formation, interpretation, and enforcement principles.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of explaining legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
