Cost Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Cost Accountant with strong expertise in SAP Business One (B1) to join our finance team. The role focuses on accurate cost reporting, inventory management, and supporting budgeting processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process cost accounting and ensure accurate reporting of Cost of Goods Manufactured and Sold using SAP.
• Perform regular cycle counts to correct inventory misstatements.
• Reconcile monthly and update standard costs to actual costs.
• Maintain a perpetual inventory system within SAP.
• Lead the monthly closing process, coordinating with internal and external departments to achieve a 4‑day close, including journal entry preparation, posting, balancing, and subsidiary ledger reconciliation.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process by providing updated cost information across product lines.
• Provide timely financial information, including actual and standard costs for new products.

Required profile

• Education: ICMA or a relevant degree in accounting/finance.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP Business One – Production Module.
