Creative Director

About the role

Creative Ideas is seeking a full‑time Creative Director to lead the creative vision for client campaigns and projects. Based on‑site in Karachi, you will guide multidisciplinary teams in concept development, visual direction, and execution across digital and print channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative strategies that align with client objectives and brand goals.
• Oversee branding, design systems, and visual identities to ensure consistency and high quality across all deliverables.
• Lead and mentor designers, art directors, and other creative staff, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with account, marketing, and production teams, presenting concepts to clients and supporting new‑business pitches.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices while maintaining an organized, deadline‑driven workflow.

Required profile

• Proven strength in creative direction and strategy, with the ability to translate business goals into compelling concepts.
• Hands‑on experience in graphic design and a strong portfolio showcasing integrated campaigns and brand systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for articulating creative rationales to teams and clients.
• Experience managing and mentoring creative teams, prioritising workloads and delivering projects on schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Cloud (or comparable industry‑standard design and layout software).
