Job description
About the role
A remote, full-time CRO & UX analyst role supporting clients' conversion performance. You will find out what users do once they land on a site and why they do not convert, using GA4 and behavioural tools, then explain the trends and patterns to the client. You work closely with the senior CRO and CRO team. The schedule requires overlap with Sydney hours, including availability from 2:00 PM AEST.
Key responsibilities
- GA4 analysis: build custom reports, funnel and path explorations, segments and comparisons, and identify which pages, sources or user groups explain changes in conversion rate.
- Business analysis: spot trends over time, work with ratios such as conversion rate, average order value, revenue per user and cart-to-checkout completion, and link site metrics to revenue, leads and lead quality.
- A/B testing: analyse test results with confidence and sample size, break them down by segment, and use recordings and heatmaps to explain why a test won or lost.
- Behavioural analysis: review session recordings, heatmaps and scroll maps, run heuristic reviews of sites and funnels, and combine GA4, behavioural tools and heuristics.
- Data quality: spot missing events, duplicates, thresholding or sampling, check for tracking issues and brief developers to fix them.
- AI and automation: use AI tools for reporting, data pulls and write-ups, and verify every output.
- Communication: explain findings in plain English, present and defend your ideas, and write clear, well-structured reports.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience answering conversion questions in GA4 (or Universal Analytics).
- Proven experience analysing A/B test results and explaining why tests won or lost.
- Strong business sense with trends, ratios and commercial metrics.
- Regular hands-on use of at least one behavioural tool: Hotjar, Contentsquare, FullStory or Microsoft Clarity.
- Advanced use of AI tools for automation and basic data analysis, with a habit of checking outputs.
- Enough tracking knowledge to spot bad data and explain it to a developer.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Curious, can-do attitude, confident to share ideas and admit uncertainty, and willing to stay long term.
Required skills
- Custom GA4 reports, explorations and segments
- A/B test analysis
- Hotjar, Contentsquare, FullStory or Microsoft Clarity
- Nice to have: Google Tag Manager, Python, SQL or BigQuery, and certifications in behavioural tools
