Customer Engineering Technician – LPG Systems

About the role

The Customer Engineering Technician will support PARCO Pearl Gas in delivering safe and reliable LPG, natural gas, and industrial piping solutions to commercial and industrial customers across Pakistan. The role involves hands‑on installation, testing, commissioning, and after‑sales support for a wide range of gas‑related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test and commission LPG, natural gas and industrial piping systems.
• Fit storage tanks, vaporizers, pressure‑reducing stations, manifolds, regulators, safety‑relief valves, gas meters and associated piping.
• Interpret P&IDs, isometric and mechanical installation drawings for field execution.
• Conduct hydrostatic/pneumatic pressure testing, leak testing, purging and performance verification.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of LPG equipment including regulators, vaporizers, PRVs, pumps and instrumentation.
• Carry out site surveys, prepare material lists and coordinate installations with customers and contractors.
• Apply Permit‑to‑Work, LOTO, confined‑space and hot‑work procedures and ensure HSE compliance.
• Resolve customer complaints, provide emergency response and technical after‑sales support.

Required profile

• DAE in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical engineering.
• Up to 8 years of experience with at least 6 years in relevant LPG/gas installation or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of carbon‑steel and stainless‑steel piping, threaded, flanged and welded joints.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
