Customer Support Representative

About the role

Prime Energy UK is seeking a Customer Support Representative to guide households through their energy‑efficiency enquiries and service journey. Working remotely, you will communicate clearly, explain solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via approved channels (email, chat, phone).
• Explain energy‑efficiency services, eligibility, appointment processes, and next steps.
• Accurately record customer details, interactions, follow‑ups, and outcomes in company systems.
• Coordinate with sales, survey, installation, and service teams to resolve requests.
• Follow up on pending enquiries, appointments, and service issues while maintaining a positive experience.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English with a courteous, customer‑focused approach.
• Previous experience in customer support, call centre operations, telesales support, or a similar service role.
• Strong listening skills, ability to identify needs, explain information clearly, and manage follow‑ups.
• Comfortable using digital tools such as CRM platforms, ticketing systems, email, chat, and spreadsheets.
• Accurate data entry and careful handling of customer records.
• Organised, with good time‑management and prioritisation in a remote environment.
• Calm under pressure, able to handle complaints and follow escalation procedures.
