Data Scientist - Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to join a global technology leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on developing, training, and optimizing AI models, evaluating their performance, and collaborating with researchers and annotators to improve reinforcement‑learning pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python code for AI model training and optimization.
• Conduct systematic evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results.
• Rank and assess AI responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with defined criteria.
• Produce clear explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong technical reasoning.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Solid experience with data science and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using analytical skills.
• Strong bug‑fixing capabilities and experience writing thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
