Datafeed Solutions Specialist

About the role

The Datafeed Solutions Specialist provides advanced technical support for complex client issues, acting as an escalation point and subject‑matter expert within the Datafeed Solutions Team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as technical escalation point for analysts and clients, handling advanced troubleshooting of APIs, WebSocket, authentication, authorisation, entitlements, cloud platforms and dataset delivery.
• Manage incidents, outages, migrations, onboarding activities and infrastructure changes in coordination with Commercial, Product and Technology teams.
• Identify recurring or systemic issues, drive escalation and resolution, and contribute to process improvement.
• Support emerging AI‑enabled workflows, MCP, AIRD and related data‑delivery platforms, evaluating AI‑related concerns.
• Provide technical coaching, training and knowledge transfer to analysts and develop troubleshooting guides, scripts, API examples and client enablement materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in client‑facing technical support, handling complex issues, escalations and knowledge transfer.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and root‑cause analysis skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work rotating shifts covering APAC, EMEA and Americas.

Required skills

• RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, authentication/authorisation.
• SQL and database fundamentals.
• Python programming for automation and client integration examples.
• Cloud delivery platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) and WebSocket integration.
• Familiarity with large language models, prompting, retrieval, AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
