Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – Quality

About the role

Darson Industries is looking for a competent quality professional to strengthen its quality system and ensure compliance with customer, product and automotive industry requirements. The role combines oversight of quality assurance and control across incoming materials, production processes and finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Manage quality assurance and quality control activities for incoming materials, production processes and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, EMS 14001, customer‑specific requirements and internal procedures.
• Investigate customer complaints, product defects and process non‑conformities using root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs, rejection trends, process capability and audit findings; prepare periodic reports for management.
• Assist in internal and external audits and coordinate with Production, Development and other departments for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in an automotive parts manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and EMS 14001.
• Proficiency with quality tools: 7 QC Tools, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP and Control Plans.
• Root‑cause analysis, problem‑solving and corrective‑action capabilities.
• Effective leadership, team management and cross‑department coordination.
• Good documentation, reporting and Microsoft Office skills.
