Deputy Manager – Business Planning

About the role

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co is seeking a Deputy Manager – Business Planning to lead the implementation and management of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions. The role will support finance and business planning teams with budgeting, forecasting, workforce and financial planning across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from Finance and Business Planning teams.
• Design, build and maintain SAC Planning models, stories, dashboards and applications.
• Configure budgeting, forecasting, workforce and financial planning models.
• Develop Data Actions, Allocations, Business Rules, Calendar Tasks, Multi‑Actions and Planning Workflows.
• Integrate SAC with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP HANA and other data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, finance and IT to improve planning and reporting processes.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, data quality management and troubleshoot application issues.
• Deliver end‑user training, prepare functional documentation and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure system performance, security, governance and best practices for planning and analytics solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Planning, Business Planning or Financial Planning applications.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments is an advantage.
• Exposure to automotive, pharmaceuticals, retail or similar industries is a plus.
