DevOps Engineer – AWS Infrastructure

About the role

Join EON’s fast‑growing team to build and maintain secure, scalable, and high‑performance cloud infrastructure that powers innovative healthcare solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to automate deployments, ensure system reliability, and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, high‑performance AWS infrastructure.
• Configure and manage core AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM and CloudFormation.
• Automate deployments and configuration management using CloudFormation, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise performance, availability and security of the environment.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define best practices and support the full DevOps toolchain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Experience building Docker images, running containers and using Python boto3 SDK.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance standards such as SOC2, HIPAA and CIS Benchmarks.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
• Infrastructure as Code tools – Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Containerisation – Docker.
• Python scripting (boto3).
• Linux/Windows system administration.
• Networking concepts – DNS, load balancing, SSL.
