DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract (CI/CD, Cloud, IaC)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Support and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
