DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a leading global IT services and consulting firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that support modern software development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Git version control and branching strategies.
