DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a leading global IT services firm on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will design, build and maintain CI‑CD pipelines and automate infrastructure to accelerate software delivery for multiple development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline deployments and integrate applications.
• Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on expertise with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Ability to script and automate tasks using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
