DevOps Engineer (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a global IT services leader. You will work closely with development teams to ensure reliable, secure, and automated deployments across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production and staging issues.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline application deployment and integration.
• Enforce security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands‑on expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Solid understanding of version control (Git) and branching strategies.
