DevOps Lead

About the role

The company is seeking a DevOps Lead to bridge development, QA, operations, and security teams. The role focuses on designing reliable CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and managing Azure cloud environments to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment lifecycle for applications and services.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
• Automate workflows using scripting and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Monitor performance, availability and health across environments.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure deployments.
• Troubleshoot production and staging issues, supporting microservices and containerised applications.
• Maintain databases, queuing systems and logging/monitoring solutions.
• Implement security, backup, disaster‑recovery and compliance best practices.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes administration and GitOps deployments.
• Ability to work off‑hours for critical production issues.
• Proactive attitude towards emerging tools and industry trends.
