Director of Facility Operations Management

About the role

Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University is seeking an experienced Director of Facility Operations Management to lead the planning, maintenance, and optimization of its campus infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments and external vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facilities that support the university’s academic and research mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive facility operations strategies, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs for civil and electrical building services.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to deliver quality maintenance services within budget.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor facility management budgets and financial plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conduct regular risk assessments.
• Utilize facility management software and project management tools to schedule and track maintenance activities.
• Provide technical supervision for infrastructure maintenance and construction projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum twelve years of relevant professional experience in facility management.
• Professional registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary maintenance and technical supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with facility management software.
• Experience using Microsoft Project for scheduling and tracking.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies.
• Risk assessment and mitigation expertise.
