Director of Finance, Audit & Corporate Governance (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior executive to lead finance, audit and corporate governance functions for a diversified business group. Reporting to the Group Chairman and Board, the Director will shape financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance and drive sustainable growth, all on a remote basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the Group’s expansion plans.
• Provide financial advice to the Chairman and Board on investment, capital allocation and risk management.
• Oversee preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, GAAP and other standards.
• Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, cash flow, treasury, payables and receivables.
• Design and maintain internal control systems and corporate governance frameworks.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and ensure timely remediation of findings.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory filing requirements.
• Lead enterprise risk management, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks.
• Conduct due diligence and financial evaluation for new projects, M&A and joint ventures.
• Mentor and develop a team of 20 finance, audit and compliance professionals.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance, accounting, audit and corporate governance.
• Proven track record of leading large finance teams and managing complex financial operations.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, IAS and GAAP reporting standards.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Ability to work closely with senior executives and board members.
